Attorney Kim Clark is a North Carolina native. She graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Business Administration. She earned her JD from Elon University School of Law where she received the Order of Barristers Award for excellence in oral advocacy. She began her practice with Daly Mills Family Law, focusing on litigation, and joined Southpark Family Law in 2024 to expand her practice to include Collaborative Divorce.

Prior to earning her law degree, Kim was fortunate to experience the business world from various perspectives, from being a banker in both the Charlotte and Chicago markets, becoming a business owner and entrepreneur in the food and wine industry, to her position as Director of an International Boarding School. Her diverse background places her in the unique position of understanding the business, financial and legal implications to be addressed when unraveling a marriage.

Kim is a mother of two adult sons and has experienced divorce personally. She understands the emotional turmoil and financial anxiety that divorce can create for families, and the lasting impact it can have on children when dealt with contentiously. Her goal is to minimize the conflict and find creative solutions to ensure her clients’ priorities are met during this challenging time in their lives. Kim takes a supportive approach to helping clients find peaceful paths and encourages respectful and collaborative communication that protects children, preserves parenting relationships, and leads to healthier futures for all family members. She believes advocacy does not have to be adversarial. She will zealously protect your rights while delivering divorce with dignity.

As a Lake Norman resident, Kim enjoys the benefits of lake life in her time away from the office. You may find her boating, kayaking, playing pickleball, entertaining family and friends, or playing with her grand dog, Milo.
