Molly Anthony

I am passionate about the law and I care about my clients. These qualities make me a strong advocate to have on your side during this very difficult time in your life. As a mother, I know how much your children mean to you and how you would do anything to shelter them from harm. Children are often the innocent victims in their parents’ divorce. While it may be impossible to shield them entirely from the impact of your divorce, I will work with you to minimize the impact on your children as much as possible. My goal is to educate you regarding North Carolina law and how it applies to your case, so that you understand all your options. Divorce can be a terrifying experience, but I will empower you with the knowledge of what to expect every step of the way. I majored in mathematics and then worked in the banking industry for many years prior to becoming an attorney, so I have a strong financial background to handle complex financial support and property division cases. I’ve represented clients in Forsyth, Davie, Davidson, Rowan, Alexander, Iredell, Catawba, Mecklenburg, Cabarrus and Gaston counties, on matters involving child custody, child support, equitable distribution, post-separation support, alimony, contempt, and breach of contract claims. Not every case requires litigation, and many cases can be resolved out of court using alternative dispute resolution methods such as collaborative law, arbitration, and mediation. But if litigation becomes necessary, you can rely on my years of trial experience to protect your interests in the courtroom.

I went to law school to help people. I then specifically chose the field of family law because I know my strength lies in helping people who are going through a hard time. I work hard to make my clients feel confident, secure, and comfortable. I want to help them take on any challenge that comes their way. I have represented clients in court in over fourteen counties across the state of North Carolina on matters involving child custody, child support, equitable distribution, post-separation support, alimony, contempt and domestic violence. I have also settled many cases using alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration. As your attorney, I am dedicated to making sure you have all of the tools and support you need to get through this difficult time in your life.

Deborah Dilman

Prior to practicing family law, Deborah worked for many years in the financial industry. While she enjoyed her employment, she did not feel she was making a meaningful impact on client’s lives. She wanted to work to make lives better and to empower people to make important decisions for themselves and for their families, and those goals ultimately led her to law school. Deborah was determined to not only be a good attorney but to really listen to clients and understand their needs and concerns. Upon graduation, she began her career with Legal Aid of North Carolina in Winston-Salem. In February 2005, Deborah shifted her practice to focus exclusively on family law, an area of law she absolutely loves. She not only has the privilege of resolving matters of great importance, but she also works hard to educate and empower clients to make decisions. She helps clients understand they have power to make changes that are impactful for both themselves and their family. Deborah’s knowledge of the law and life experience will assist you through the process so that you can begin regaining control of your life again. Deborah is a certified Family Financial Mediator as well as a certified Collaborative Law Attorney. Deborah is a solutions-oriented attorney, working hard to resolve cases whether collaboratively, through mediation, or in litigation.
